Ethernet/IP scanner - adapter

Dear all,

I'm using Twincat3 on my laptop in order to test some devices with different fieldbus (profinet, profibus, ethercat, ethernet/ip...) and normally, even though my poor plc experience, all works properly.

 

Now I'm testing a new device that use Ethernet/IP and is an adapter, so:

• I copied its EDS file into Twicat3/Config/IO folder
• Putted inside my project a scanner (TC3 EIP Scanner)
• Proceeded with scan operation. My device it was found and I add it into my list.
• With mouse right click, loaded the EDS file
• Append IO connection and I chosen Exclusive owner in order to send output and receive input
• Download this configuration in my plc (that run on my laptop)
• In realtime I see a strange condition
  • The device ouput (that are input for plc) arrives correctly
  • The plc output (that are input for external device) seems that doesn't arrive

 

So I ask you guys...how is possible?! How is possible that the communication half works, meanwhile with other ethernet/ip works properly?

 

Have you some idea?
