Utilizzo RSnetwork for Ethernet IP

Buongiorno,

vorrei sapere l'utilitá del sw RSNetwork for Ethernet IP.

Mi spiego meglio.

Se si utlizzano reti come Devicenet o Controlnet, il relatico RSNetwork serve per la configurazione della rete e l'ottimizzazione dei pacchetti.

E'lo stesso per L'Ethernet? Cosa si potrebbe fare?
