Spia ETH spenta quando si collega Inovance H3U al laptop

Buongiorno.
Quando il controller Inovance H3U-3232MT è collegato alla macchina, la spia ETH è accesa. Mentre quando il controller è collegato tramite il cavo di rete al portatile, questa spia non si accende. Qual è la causa di questo problema?
